Anyone flying this season who usually gets around the strict weight allowances by carrying boots etc as hand luggage better throw a few items out there suitcase to accomodate

They (Ministry of Transport spokesman) have said this am that the current changes to hand luggage will be altered as the threat to security decreases.
But perhaps I will wait to buy a new rucksack to carry my skiboots on Easyjet and Ryanair

I would not bank on theze restrictions being lifted very quickly.

It really pissed me off to have to post my tiddly little keyring penknife to myself and then go through security to find glass bottles full of highly flammable liquids on sale in the duty free booze and perfume shops. And you could do a lot of damage with a side of smoked salmon.
