Poster: A snowHead

My scandi skittles steez kit is showing its age. Does anyone have any experience of using the Rab Khroma Diffuse range regarding fit and durability in particular? I'm a 186cm twiglet FYI. Over to you...

My jacket is Rab Khroma Diffuse.
Really good. Its done at least 12 weeks now and doesn't feel like it's broken in yet. Definatly the heaviest quality material I've come across. First jacket I've had that I don't think "If only it had..." (reason I've had so many?). Inside stash pockets (x2) are big though not sure they'd take skins as intended (not tried).
Only slight gripes are... The hood, though helmet compatible and cavenous without one, is a bit small so the brim only just comes far enough over my helmet; Survived 3-4 days of torrential rain last season and stayed dry though, so minor issue. Other thing is the inside and outside breast pockets are a bit on the snug size for a larger mobile phone. It's 3 season old design so might have changed. Looks like latest ones have some tweeks on mine.
Mine's a UK Medium. I got M+L and sent the L back as it was a tent on me. I'd expect you'd be a small in the body but arm/body length might be an issue. On mine iarms are pretty generous and comes over my hands if I don't do the wrists up.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@adithorp, bang on, thanks. Definitely sounds like it should be on the list.

Rab stuff is pretty good in general. Can be a little tight around the armpits so definitely try before you buy.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Cant go wrong with RAB! Had a load of jackets over the years and no complaints apart from a pair of event trousers!

Thanks all. I've owned a lot of Rab stuff and I'm a fan - but mostly mid layers / insulation.

Good timing on this thread - I'm looking for a new set of gear to handle mostly lift served off piste, with a side of shortish tours with a focus of some uphill to get the goods. I also came across the Khroma kit and it sounds like it should fit the bill for that mix, and knowing Rab, could last me another 10 years.
Any more sizing feedback? I'm 183cm tall with long arms, 100cm chest and 80kg (+/- 2kg!) and tend to be "medium and a half" i.e. I'm either medium or large depending on the brand. I'll be doing trips anywhere between Jan and April so want a shell but with room for insulation underneath.
I can't see them in stock near me. I could just order both but as I want jacket and pants even one set feels like a lot to stick on the card!
This review sounded good - but the fit pic at the bottom doesn't help as I'm sure I don't want XL!
