Snow Reports
FAQ
Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

The back pack is in great condition. Comfortable to wear. Have found it great for days off piste with space for the safety gear in a separate pocket and room for spare mid-layer, gloves, snacks and water bottle. No aquapack option but always found them a faff for skiing.
I have filled the bottle once with an air rifle pump which is available for free if you wish to pick up. I live in Southampton.
£215. Much less and I will rip the airbag kit out and use it as a back pack as pretty neat otherwise.

You might want to put up a photo or find a product link somewhere as there are different generations and the later ones are a bit less bulky.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

The ebay looks like a Gen 1 while the review site looks like a Gen 2. I'm not trying to nitpick but I have a Gen 1 and in practice the Gen 2 looks quite a bit different (less boxy etc)
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

It seems to be the Float 22 Airbag 1.0. Must admit I did not know there was a Float 2.0. I just saw the Snoworks instructors skiing with them and recommending, and thought 'that will do me!'. I don't follow developments in kit until I want to buy something new. Shame I will never be on the look out for another airbag as my back is 'f...ed' and it has been sitting in a case for a ffew years.
