Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Decathlon Test Terrain Tignes - anyone else through the first round?

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Has anyone else applied to do the Decathlon Test Terrain at Tignes from 25 - 29 Nov and heard they are someone "que nous considerons en priorite"? If so, if we hear we get selected, it would be great to form a group to sort transfers from airports together etc.

And... in case you have no idea what i am talking about, on the Decathlon website you can register to help test their products. I'm down for winter sports and horse riding and every couple for weeks get sent a questionairre about what i want in a bridle, or a ski rucksac. I've had horse treats sent out for the horses to test as well. Anyway, this test is somewhat better, it's a FREE trip to Tignes to test some Decathlon stuff - baselayers, etc I imagine as they ask you to bring all your kit. They put you up fully catered in the UCPA, give you a liftpass, and you ski with an instructor each day then do evening discussion groups about the gear you were testing. And yes, it's too late to sign up now for this year, but do get yourselves registered incase they run this again!

Fingers crossed for anyone else waiting for an email this week!

I applied for tests last year but was not in their "age profile" - in other words over 35 and not of interest to them.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I think they have cast the net wider this year as I am well over 35, so don't give up for next year!

It's too late to sign up for this year. I can't remember how I joined their test panel, think it was from my Decathlon account? Might have been an option on the website or they emailed me after i set up the account?

Can you please post it next year as soon as you hear it's available. I'd have gone for that.

I'm driving out to the PSB so I can be flexible if we get an huge dump of snow in early-mid November. If so I'll be off hoping to ski the first week as soon as the lifts open. I'm yearning for the white stuff Cool

You end up getting emails from co-creation Decathlon about the sports you have signed up for throughout the year, this was just one of the far more interesting topics!
