Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@andmelffion, The Altibus service can use the regional bus network, the service to Val Thorens from Moutiers is S63. This is a summer timetable, there are more buses in winter.
@Craigie, Val Thorens is the end of the line.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

@Craigie, You get off the train in moutiers-salins-brides-les-bain, and the bus station is right next to it. Buses usually leave about 20 minutes after the train.

@andy1234, I always get the impression they try to deliberately not align them but maybe that's as I come to VT in April.

@sugarmoma666, hmmm, maybe you are right in that the bus departures don’t line up well with the Eurostar trains specifically. Our usual trip has been the 0801 Eurostar from London to Paris, arrives 1118. Then the 1246 TGV from Gare de Lyon to Moutiers arriving 1710. We then walk past the buses to shop at Carrefour and then get a taxi to Les Menuires, that now costs €100.
