No XP, but I pay £13 to nationwide for ours that include travel insurance, etc.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Thanks - not worried about off-piste. Will check the T&Cs but it seems like a good way to reduce costs.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

We have similar through our BoS rewards account.
I was surprised at how comprehensive the insurance was, after the disappointment of the AA 'cover' that was provided.

Just bumping this to see if anyone has gone with monzo max ?
At £17/ month personal or £22 / month for family it looks like decent value as you also get breakdown cover and car hire excess cover plus various other bits and bobs …

@sheffskibod, no but I think I noted somewhere that they don't cover winter sports claims outside the winter season and saw their definition was that this ends on 31st March in the Northern Hemisphere. If that makes a difference to you maybe check again in case I was wrong.....

Digging deeper (and a quick phone call) revealed that the limit per claim for a cancelled holiday seems to be £5000 (per claim, not per person) which really isn’t enough and a bit mean since the cover for an individual policy is the same.
To compare, my current LV Premier is £10,000 per person (overkill for most trips obviously).

I'm not bothered about cancellation. Or loss of property etc. Rescue, medical, evacuation and - above all - personal liability is what I need. Today I had to check that my Nationwide policy would cover me if the rather expensive apartment I'm renting burns down. It does (under the personal liability clause) and they wanted documentary proof (this is a standard requirement of rental agreements in France).
