Hi, I'm away until late June, but sometime in the first week in July would be good for me for a meet. It would be nice to sit in the sun with a drink and talk about snowy things.

What are you thinking of? Cycling to Bristol from Cirencester, having some drinks, then cycling home?

Have to say I'm thinking central Bristol more than outskirts. Yate would take me nearly an hour by car. Maybe two different sessions would work.

Happy to hop on a train for central Brizzol, but probably far less keen to drive to yate or similar…

We in the S Cotswolds are at the edge of "West Country", perhaps beyond it, and central Bristol is awkward by train, bike or car. Someone might have an inspired idea (somewhere around Bristol Parkway may work) but otherwise let us know where and when you plan to meet up - and have a good one!

I’d certainly consider coming by bike or train, depending on timing and weather. Somewhere near Temple Meads or Parkway would be best for anyone else coming from or via Cardiff & Newport by rail.

Yep would be great to talk snowy stuff - on holiday in Ibiza and all this sunshine and warmth is somewhat disconcerting.
I’m normally in south Bristol and happy with whatever location works best.

Free PIZZA tomorrow.
Ok. We've just had a cancellation for lunch tomorrow so I'm issuing an open invite for 2-3 snowheads who can make it to the Abbots Leigh area for 1pm ish tomorrow for home made pizza.
Very informal. Bring what you like to drink and any special toppings you particularly like. Advance warning: Pineapple is not going in my pizza oven.

Nice oven, afraid I can’t make it either - would have loved to, pizza is my favourite food.
Probably shouldn’t open this can of worms, but what else to do on a gloriously sunny day.
Curious on the pineapple thing, is it all fruit or just pineapple?
Would pear, gorgonzola, walnut and truffle oil be acceptable?

Not all fruits are banned otherwise that would rule out olives. I wouldn’t put pears on pizza though else you’d end up with a soggy bottom 
Soft fruits just don’t make sense on pizzas.
