Hi all
Anyone know where I can either buy iron on patches for specific ski resorts or make my own special patch?
Taking a big group and want to hand them out to everyone going.
Thanks

I'm disappointed! Thought these were going to be like nicotine patches but to counter the end of ski season withdrawal symptoms

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

I would have thought those kitsch souvenir shops in resort could have such a thing but resort by resort and in-situ rather that getting all different ones you might want in one place?
Just have to grab them when you see them, or as you say create your own. Rip down the resort logo off the internet and get them done youself.

Definitely seen them in the tourist tat shops in 3 valleys, assuming will be the same across most major resorts.

Pinch their logo, convert to a vector and upload the eps file to Made by Cooper, you'll have to spend a bit of time getting the size/cost ratio right.

I can't believe any resort doesn't sell these ...

Usually in the shops in resort. I’m a ‘Badger’, collecting these patch badges wherever i go. I say badge because I grew up in the Brownies and Guides where you did challenges to earn the badges…
You can probably buy them online somewhere.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

When you've collected them, what do you do with them? Presumably not iron them on to your cool expensive ski jacket?

Country badges go on my back pack, other badges go on my suitcase, or my overnight bag.

You know it makes sense.

Will your people want to put them on their ski clothing? More likely to be happy to stick them to helmets/skis/luggage, no? In which case an iron on patch would be shite..?
If you think they are mad enough to put them on either their £42 Aldi jacket or £750 Arcteryx jacket, then an embroidered patch with some fabric glue is the best option. Iron on patches do not stick that well and take ages to heat up and the iron could/will damage the material of the jacket.

@valais2, might depend on how ostentatious you are and who you want to see it, maybe an outside cheek or could be on a cheek that is normally out of sight.
