Eh?! It’s just a creek - Hokkaido is full of them and very common to find running water in creeks when everything else is frozen solid and covered in many feet of snow.

Why do people keep ski when they can’t see where they’re going? Genuine question.
I accept accidents happen. Like, if the hole were snow covered, that’s one thing. But he just ski down a path he couldn’t always see the next section. Isn’t that tempting fate?
