Someone on the Facebook Ski Club posted earlier to say that all of his wife's boot fitting woes have been solved by AquaNovaBoots. I've just had a look at their website and am underwhelmed. The fitting process appears to match that of a good boot fitter, albeit with only 6 shell models to choose from, but with the addition of a funky water bath. An I missing something?

The only new thing seems to be cooling the shell in a water tank. The rest is just like vacuum fit.

We were warming shells in a burco boiler in the early 90s. It was never that effective then

We gave up on it as an experiment pretty quickly as it didn't isolate the area you wanted to work on so you ended up pulling the whole shell out of shape if you weren't careful
