Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Serre Chevalier - Joy pass worth it for half term

Hi,

Anybody have any experience of the lift queus in Serre Chevalier at half term, we are going from the 10th Feb to the 16th. They offer the Joy lift pass that apparently skips ques but its an extra 200 Euro for the family which is making it an incredible expensive lift pass. it doesn't really sit very well with me that you can pay to jumpthe ques and if everybody pays them its self defeating.

We didn’t need them when we were there a few weeks ago but it isn’t available on all lifts so tricky to know the real benefit. I would say if you are happy to shuffle through and fill spaces I would think it isn’t worth the extra…
They realy should have more singles lines this side of the pond.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

If it is included in a season pass or as an add-on to Holiski, I'd say it was as it lasts all season, but rarely needed to use it even at New Year. Add-on to a weekly pass is expensive. On the one occasion the queue for a lift was really bad, we just changed our plans, and went back half an hour later when the queue subsided. If you're out when ski school is starting though, it might be worth it.
