Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Looking to take the wife for a surprise birthday trip, only 5 nights. Any recommendations for the best companies to use for these types of breaks, especially if looking for flights to be included?

If you don't want to go in peak periods DIY.
Opens up more resorts and imo is better value.
Source accommodation via the tourist office of the resort/area.
Most big tour companies do the traditional sat-sat trip as default.

Thank you for the reply. Wife and I are both teachers so off-peak is not an option unfortunately!

Still might be worth checking the tourist offices if you struggle to find a package for less than a weak in holidays. You can usually put in your requirements and then the individual accommodation places get back to you with an offer.

just booked with Heidi, to Zell am See, for 4 days in March but after adding most flights, transfer (which is always the biggest pain to work out and cost) hotel, it was much of a muchness with other providers and DIY.

Weski was about the same but not quite as good choice. The UI on is super easy as well & v well designed. Helpful online question answers too.

There's a direct bus between Salzburg Airport and Zell am See, the 260. €15 each way.

I'm unsure you'll find anything during Feb school holidays that's not Sat to Sat or Sun to Sun. Demand is high. You should at Easter though
