A video of a ski tour of the Belledonne from Chamrousse to the north. I've skied all the lines in this video I think, but not on matchsticks and not all in 1 day !
Looking forward to watching that. I’ve always fancied exploring the Vercors but never made it happen
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

O wow. Unbelievable. "Pas mal de technique...." 1000m an hour climbing as a standard pace! Great to have the subtitles because I wouldn't have understood all the French. Did get "Ca fait chier" My french vocab is not great but good to hear "tarabiscoté", a favourite which I rarely have a chance to use, though it's one that sometimes comes into my mind in one of those overly-twee alpine residences.
The "Dent du Pra" Made me feel ill just watching it in an armchair.
Interesting what he says at the end about the urge to "conquer" and out-perform, rather than just profit from the surroundings. I think I've always been cool with the latter......
Skiing couloirs in the dark with matchsticks on your feet - feck me.
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Dent du Pra, just profiting and in moderately decent snow just at the end of lockdown
Note Totof's 70s style pole plant. I skied with his son last season and was doing the same. His son said "are you taking the wee wee out of my dad?" "Nooooo" I replied.
What got me about the Dent du Pra part of that first video was a few casual "conversions", with just the slope in sight, and he was atop that vertiginous ridge with masses of sky and a huge drop.
I quite like that pole plant. Dancing down the slope!
Then you can post your own questions or snow reports...

Absolutely incredible that! Almost superhuman.

That's Sylvain Saudan's bad influence right there.
