Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Pop Eyes goggles

Has anyone used the Pop Eyes goggles?

Mrs Swskier uses a pair of 2018 Smith i/o mag goggles, and needs a low light lense. However, I can't find any lenses for models that old online anywhere.

She tried a pair of these on in a shop today:

They fit well, but what I can't tell, is if they'd be any good in low light. There's no info on their site that says what weather conditions they're suitable for.

A 2 second Google search seems to indicate these lenses (io mag) are still readily available.

Edit : unless it's because the magnetic fitting is different on your version, in which case I apologise for the inaccurate reply.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@Roguevfr, different fitting. I bought her a pair of lenses for Christmas, but they are from 2019 onwards only, 7 magnet fitting, where as the previous model she has are an 8 magnet fitting.

They seem to be available in the USA via the smith website but not in Europe as far as I can tell.

Which shop did she try them on in? I saw them a while back and thought they looked pretty good for the price but no idea on the quality.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

@BiggieSmallsNZ, stock sport shop in Finkenberg. We can go back and ask, just thought I'd see if the collective knowledge had any experience

i'm of the school of thought that low light goggles should be a very light tint of yellow or pink. i may be outdated.

@swskier, just had a look on the website. On this page the categories are given for replacement lenses for the Jamie model. Maybe that might give a clue.
