Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Val D'Isere accomodation March

Hi all. I'm looking for accomodation in Val D'Isere 6th March - 11th March for 2 people (shared). All the hotels are either showing no availability or are out of budget. Had a look on various sites but cant find anything suitable. Does anyone know any hotels that are only available to book direct and may offer a more reasonable price than those showing on booking.com etc etc? Any suggestions welcome.

Places that are more budget orientated that might or might not be on booking.com etc include The Parc or the Bellier. However try contacting Kim at SimplyValdisere.com as she will have the best handle on options!

Weds - Mon in high season is going to be tricky or costly, especially in VD

Try Tignes perhaps? It's a bit grim but has lots of cheap accom

we have some friends who have booked in VD a while back, therefore we want to be near them. Have looked at tignes but agreed doesn't have as good of restaurant options etc
