Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

We’re a group of 3 families heading to Plagne Villages this February. Last year was the first time skiing for some of the kids and they did not enjoy ski school
we obviously want them to continue lessons so are looking for recommendations for instructors/schools where they will have fun and won’t dread ski school. Some of them are nervous but all are at a similar level and they are 5 boys aged 8 to 11. We were thinking that maybe private group lessons would be best. Would love to get peoples opinions on that

Maniemoo
, did you use ESF last time?
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Go private, but to be honest you may struggle at this late stage to book
Yo may get more answers on the main La Plagne thread

We didn’t go with ESF the last time. It was another ski school in Avoriaz.
I can book private lessons with ESF in La Plagne or with another school called Supreme - they’re the ones I’ve looked at so far
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Private lessons are a fantastic option if the boys are all at a similar ski level. Our children did this in combo with 4 other families and the children all got to know their instructors well, enjoyed the skiing (tailored to them) and it worked out more cost effective than ski school
