Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Train station to resort transfer

I'm taking the Snow Train on Saturday January 13th to Aime and need to get to La Plagne 1800. The train arrives at 18.03, well after the last bus. Taxis are about 140 euro so I'd like to share the cost. It would be good to link up with others who are taking the train and going in the same direction.

I'm staying in Aime for my last night but have 7 nights booked in La Plagne from Saturday 13th so really want to get there. I hoped the buses would connect with the trains but doesn't look like they do in France.

@Rojeda, unfortunately, the buses often don't line up that well and finish before the last trains. The taxi fare you're quoting there looks a lot higher than I'd expect. For e.g. Bourg St Maurice up to Tignes was only 95euro a couple of years ago. Where are you looking at for taxi prices? I found this company for e.g. with a very quick search:

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Thank you, that's much better than the prices I've been quoted. It would still be good to share with others using the Snow Train.

@Rojeda, I'd get the taxi booked asap if I were you, as there probably aren't that many. For e.g. that company only has 3 vehicles according to its website.
