Hi all,
We are trying to organise a trip for approx 16 skiers/boarders for a long weekend in Feb. Not set on a destination although we are mainly looking for a larger resort with decent amount of nightlife. Most of us have a fair amount of experience of different alpine resorts but have never booked a weekend for thisbsize of group. Just wondering if anyone had booked similar trips in the past and could reccomend accomodation or websites that might help?

@Aaronas, welcome to Snowheads. Be aware that February is school holidays for much of Europe so it may not be easy to get somewhere for a weekend as that’ll go over two letting weeks. Can you go any other time?

It's the only dates the group could make 8-11 Feb. Mixed ability group, lowest being a few weeks with a fair amount with 20yrs plus. All competent enough to not have to worry about the difficulty of the resort. Its the acxomodation we are struggling with.....

Trying to keep the cost below 500 per person for accomodation for the 3 days if possible. Hotel preferred but we would take anything if the combination of location / accomodation is decent enough. Main key points, fairly near the town. Town fairly lively. Decent ski area

If aiming for France you'll have more chance of a choice of weekend accommodation if you make it the very first weekend, before the school hols. Last weekend in January would be even better. But there are perhaps more hotel options in Austria and Switzerland than in France, and perhaps more flexibility about non-standard bookings.
