Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Montgenevre, Risoul or Vars?

Looking at where to go feb half
Term. Wanting cruisey blues. 17-25 feb does not clash with Nice/Marseille etc school hols so wondering about Monty, Vars or Risoul.

Any thoughts? Anyone been at feb half term? Is it rammed? We normally choose Italy to avoid the queues.

@Clairey1975, I have only been to Montgenevre of these three and would recommend it. Particularly as it is linked to Claviere in Italy so you could always ski over there to escape the crowds. I would stay in Montgenevre though as it has better accommodation options.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Fully recommend Risoul / Vars (either of them) for cruisey blues. Lift system better on the Vars side nowadays so probably fewer queues starting there.

Haven't been to Montgenevre - but suspect it might be a bit quieter as the wider domain is half Italian.

Hello Clairey1975...been a while since you posted this..but did you go skiing in feb, and if so, where - and did you go in Half term? How were the crowds? i am wrestling with the same question, and was looking at precisley these 3 resorts ( as well as the Dolomites) for the same reason.
