Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Does anyone know whether there is a discount to buy next years season ticket early.
Any discount codes or sale dates etc.
I know when I bought one for Canada before they did a discount if bought in the summer.

I think it's probably October at the earliest before they go on sale but I'm sure someone will be along with a more precise date.

There wasn't this past season and very very deals of any kind sadly.

Don't know anything about 3V, but most places seem to have an early-bird offer in October as @Handy Turnip says. There can be even cheaper offers before that, but they are restricted (not publicly advertised) e.g. to locals, previous season pass holders, etc.

Though @skimottaret's username does suggest knowledge of what usually happens in 3V, not encouragingly.

There is no early bird discount sadly. Assuming it's the same as last season, they didn't even do discounted passes for residents. The reason was something to do with ski lifts being public transport and it being against the law to discriminate between local residents and others. They introduced a variety of cheaper options-including a 2 day per week season pass, or a season ticket for 20 lifts per week, and i think in the Belleville Valley (for Les Men and St M) a Saturday day pass has been heavily discounted the past 2 seasons.

In Saisies we could buy season passes at a decently discounted rate - until about early November if I remember rightly. But there was never any discount buying one-week or other short period lift passes in advance. It would not be sensible for them to sell passes cheap to people who are going to buy them anyway but having more people with season passes puts bums on seats!

There was never any "owners" or "locals" discounts, as far as I'm aware.

Three valleys was giving a free pass to over 75s up to last winter. Just as I approach 75 (in December) I discover that they are stopping the free pass and over 75s will pass 25%. Its still a good deal but not free. Mrmogulski had a 3V free season pass and I hoped to get one too. At least we will now get a season pass for about the cost of an adult 6 day.

@mogulski, charging over 75s isn't confirmed yet. Meribel has released it's lift pass prices for 23/24 still showing over 75s as free. https://www.latania.co.uk/skiing/passes/2024/3vMeribelmain.pdf?fbclid=IwAR2e-DXBQW_-Sjen-L1tI1PQ2YN3pkTj7j6JK5Wh0vYRbw3MhdULbsHRh4I
