Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I'm looking to get new boots soon so I'm wondering if it's possible to upgrade the Look NX 11 (non-gripwalk version from 2018) to the newer version of the same binding that has GW. Are the mounting holes in the same place or will the ski need to be redrilled?

, The GW version of the NX uses exactly the same holes, I just had to do the swap for a friend who got new GW boots and wasn't aware she needed new bindings. Unfortunately the old NX absolutely did not work with her new boots, massive interference from the sole lugs and the material surrounding the AFD.......

Thanks, that's really helpful. Is this something that's easy to do myself or is it worth going to a professional? If the holes are in the same place I imagine it's just a case of unscrewing the old ones and screwing in the new ones?

, in the nicest possible way, if you have to ask, then take it to a pro! Buy the bindings from them and they'll fit for free.....
