Anyone at a loose end for the first and second week of April skiing out of Montchavin or somewhere in the La Plagne ski area?
I’m an intermediate skier looking for ski pals while the kids have their lessons in the mornings

We're in Les Arcs the first week of April if that helps.. Just in Plan Peisey and will definitely be in La Plagne for one or two of those days.

I’m aiming to bring the children over to Les Arcs at the weekend as those reds down to the Vanoise were great in January

Cool! What age? We've got 13 years --> 17 year olds and a couple of 18 and 19 year olds with us - so not really children, but you know what I mean. But a few will be in ski school - 2 first timers and and 1 who is just finishing ski school.

My two are 10 and 12 but the 10 year old has been skiing since 3 and the 12 years old since 5. Goal for the end of the two weeks is a black but we shall see. Damn covid ruined their progress

Shouldn't be a problem, although it might be more to do with the conditions than the pistes.. They're un-pisted there, so extra hard. Both mine have done Black Runs now, but are 13 and 17.. Both skiing since 4 or so!! Other resorts were easier in terms of Black Runs and we usually built up to it by spying easier parts of Black Runs, as opposed to the whole thing. Of course they both like the lumps and bumps just off-piste!! The 17 year old is just about to quick for me now.. but we'll see, I've been working on my fitness and weight quite a bit and sorted out my boots for this trip.
They really enjoyed La Rosiere and there was a great ski instructor there for the older one. Absolute legend in the area, Jean-Luc!

I skied out of 1800 in January and invested in a Skimojo. Not sure how your knees are but this device is a real game changer!
I’m also working on the weight and flexibility. I want to enjoy it as much as possible. As we approach the week I’ll drop you a line about a possible hook up.
Where in the UK is home?
