Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

European Easter holiday dates

I'm sure this is covered elsewhere but I've got very limited Internet access and can't search - does 24 -31 march this year coincide with holidays anywhere? I think it's just before UK schools break up. That's the only time I can ski but won't go if it's a major holiday time. Thanks!

https://www.myskistay.com/date/en-schedule-of-the-school-holidays-Europe.html says only Germany. Given Germany is listed as on holidays for almost more weeks than not I guess it's could only be part of Germany (Lower Saxony and Bremen, so under 10 million people, from another source).

Some UK private schools will be off that week, but it's almost as good as you'll be able to get.

@VodkaSorbet, Most folk around here only go skiing during half term weeks (past now) or if conditions are really good. By the end of March it will only be those who are really keen so the Austrian resorts will be as quiet as anytime during the season.
