Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Transfers from Turin to Peisey-Nanchoix

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi

I'm looking for a cheap way to get from Turin Airport to Peisey- Nanchoix Sat 11th and return on the 18th. I can't find anything on the Internet that doesn't require a month's salary!

Any thoughts
TIA

Colette

That's a tricky route - I would normally go into Geneva for that area. If your flights are fairly early on the 11th and late on the 18th you could probably go by train. Bus to Turin Station, train to Chambery (or Montmelian) , change for the Bourg St Maurice train (or Landry if it stops there). Would be a good 5 hours though...

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

BTW you might get more input posting in the 'Piste' section of the forum. And welcome to snowHeads!

Thank you. I didn't realise the transfer wasn't included in the package, it was just flights and hotel.

I'll try the piste section, thanks Eh oh!

Yeah, because I'm going by myself it was near impossible to find a package, I thought it was too good a deal!

It might end up being cheaper to ditch the flight and get an easyjet to Geneva or Lyon (I wouldn't recommend Chambery, as it looks like there might be some weather next weekend).

@Cols, Yes its probably cheeper to abandon the Turin flight and go to Geneva and then the train to Bourg st Maurice

@Cols, what time are your flights? It might be doable by train. I think Landry might be the nearest station.
