Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Just wondering if anyone has any info about transfers from Geneva airport to la Plagne 1800 on a Sunday for 2 people. Seem to be very few affordable options

@kellyr37, Another option is to take the train from Geveva to Aime, then either bus or taxi from Aime to Plagne 1800. Obviously depends on what time you land in Geneva.
Train is 35 euros one way, bus is 18 euros return.
www.sncf.com to look at train times, www.altibus.com for local bus times.
We dropped our son off this morning at Moutiers to catch the train to Geneva via Chambery and he got back no problems.

@kellyr37, We're also going to la plagne on a sunday (or more accurately la roche) - we're getting a transfer via Bens Bus which takes us to Aime (which I believe costs about 80 euros each for a return). We're getting picked up from there but there are obviously bus/taxi options as mentioned.

@skichampcouk, I'm hoping to get the train from Chambery to Landry soon, and then get up the hill to Montchavin somehow to join the rest of my party. Do you know if there is any benefit/saving to booking train tickets in advance like in the UK, or if I should just do it when I get to Chambery station? Thanks

@Aleutian, I think the local train services are the same price whenever you book them.
It's normally the intercity or TGV services that tend to go up in price the nearer the time.
You could check by looking at the price of the journey tomorrow and in a months time for instance.
