When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Steep skiing Chamonix partner needed March

Hey there, I’m in Chamonix from March 14-17 and I need a partner for some steeps. At home I’ve skied things like the Grant Teton, Mt. Moran (solo) and lots of other similar things. I’ve made many climbing trips to Chamonix but the only line of consequence I have skied there is the Cosmique. I’d really like to fix that if the weather cooperates.

I’m looking for someone with Alpine climbing and steep skiing skills to connect with. I’m less interested in any particular line than in having some challenging fun. If that’s you, please reach out.

My dates are fixed as I have to be in Lofoten on the 18th.

I'll likely be there around the 22nd so will miss you. Wouldn't be up for any "line of consequence" but if you do go, please post conditions! If the glaciers are filled in...that'd be good to know.
