Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Just looking at either of these as a single snowboarder. Has anyone been on their off piste introduction weeks ? I can’t decide which one to go for….. I’ve done plenty of piste with the odd bit off piste and want to get more off…

I have no knowledge/opinion wither way on Chamex but have done a lot of trips with HOFNAR, including the off piste intro one and having checked the bank balance post PSB looking at book the HOFNAR off piste intro week again.

With the HOFNAR one you get an amazing lead guide in the form of Guillaume who managed to fund us (wind blown) powder runs last year even though there hadn't been any snowfall for 3 weeks. There isn't any skinning up but when you get off the top of a lift and G. just starts cutting a trail up the hill infront of you saying "It's only a 5 minute walk" it will be a 15 to 30 min walk (depending how far he needs to take us to find something fresh) Smile And if conditions are poor (like last year) G.s qualified to guide anywhere in the world, which saw us with a day trip to Chamonix to crampon-up and do the Valley Blanch.
