Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi,
Any advice on what we can and can’t take through geneva airport? In the past we have taken quite a bit of food out with us to save money but I’m hearing mixed messages about this now? Ta.

Thank you. Looks like it’s pasta and chocolate for the week! A typical ski holiday!

The swiss can be utter ladies' front bottoms, no common sense at all. They wouldn't let me bring through to airside a bar of nougat I had purchased there, yet once through to airside you could buy a swiss army knife that you could carry on, I kid you not.

I unwittingly carried a swiss army knife through security at Geneva - forgot it was in my handbaggage. They took it out of my bag, measured the blade and put it back saying it's OK, the blade is shorter than the limit.

I took some ham sandwiches through in hand luggage last year. Didn't realise they weren't allowed until I was passing through customs and saw a sign rolling eyes .

Didn't expect anywhere to get food being open and a 3 hour transfer. Just used up what was in the fridge without thinking about any rules.

Nobody checked, so no problems.
