Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I will be in Val Thorens this week and would like to keep an eye on the world cup.
Can any of you recommend any French TV apps that will allow me to watch live matches?
I am planning on visiting the pub (The Frog or O'Neills) to watch the England game (for a bit of atmosphere) but hope to watch other matches when I stay in.

If you get the Surfshark VPN you should be able to watch what you would back home. Just pick a UK location.

Bein TV have the rights for all the WC games in France - which is a Pay TV subscription.
So you would need a VPN to be able to watch it on a free channel like BBC & ITV to spoof your location.
Free version of Tunnel Bear may work - you can try that at home.
Should be quote a few blackfriday deals around as well - lots of VPN services to choose from.

TF1 is definitely showing some games as well - 28 live matches including the final and 20 bonus games (whatever that means).
