Full tilt adjustable boots
For cash-strapped parents needing replacement boots every year for growing kids these would seem to be a gift from God. To anyone who's owned them: is there a catch (i.e. are they rubbish)?

Great for little kids, mine both had them between the ages of 3-6. I wouldn't use them after that though, but I guess it depends upon how experienced the kids are and what demands they place upon the boot.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Cheers. That's useful info. By 'demands on the boot', do you mean how aggressively they ski? Are the boots a very soft flex?

Yes they are soft and very much a comfort fit. Perfect for little kids, not so much when they get bigger/heavier and want more control over their skis.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Mini_mg was very happy in the (larger) Roces equivalent, up to her early teens. She is light and not hugely powerful but technically a decent skier. IIRC she passed her gold star using them, on a very icy slalom course in VT. Changed them the year after, I think, when she started to comment on them being a bit soft.
I think they're great, for the right kid.

Thanks. Both of my mild-mannered boys turn into psychos when they put skis on, so maybe these aren't for them. They sound like they would be perfect for my daughter though, as she skis very nicely but without any aggression.
