Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Your Favourite Ski Resorts of Last Season
The top 5 most popular resorts of last season had the magic ingredients of an extensive ski area, snow sure conditions and lively apres ski:
Les Deux Alpes: A great all-round resort suitable for all levels of skiers and boarders.
Meribel: Located at the centre of the vast 3 valley ski area, Meribel offers excellent skiing for all levels.
St Anton: Austria's favourite resort by far, St Anton combines superb skiing and great apres ski.
Val d'Isere: Renowned for its snow sure conditions, long ski season, vast ski area and lively apres ski.
Verbier: A fashionable, stylish resort with plenty of apres ski to suit all tastes and huge ski area to boot.

So let's hear it for LDA. Hoorah! Cool

So, Easiski was right all along. NehNeh

Meribel Shocked My least favourite spot in the whole of the 3v (apart from the snowpark which is ace)

Frosty the Snowman, I agree - I have been to the 3Vs many times and like the area but Meribel is my least favorite of the resorts to stay in - it is just to big, sprawling and lets face it, when in the village, it could be anywhere. OK if you like it cosmopolitan but it just does not do it for me.

SHello, I really enjoy the 3Vs as well and try and go at least once a year. We tend to stay down the valley in Les Allues which is a great village with a couple of bars/restaurants. Also there's the free ski bus up to Meribel if you want a big night out!

Helen Beaumont, the skiing is excellent in the Espace Killy, whatever you might say about the villages (I've never stayed in V d'I). I can see why it might do well.

I like Val d'Isere, and the Espace Killy more generally. World class skiing, some great ski schools and off-piste guides, parts of the resort are very attractive, and a range of apres-ski (it's easy to avoid the large number of young British seasonnaires if you want to - attendance at Dick's isn't compulsory!).

I think a lot of us dislike places which are full of Brits so that list could just as easily be a bottom 5! Val D and Meribel are certainly places I have no particular desire to go to ever again
I do quite like LDA - although there are lots of Brits, it isn't pretentious

I agree with Rob about Val d' sere. Nobody is compelled to socialise with these so called objectionable Brits.

Can't believe Alpe d'huez is listed. Great lay out, generally good snow and top night life.

They don't define how they decided this, so I suggest it's just where they sold most holidays to!
