I love the sound of that set up.
I though that a fun way do to base grind would be to buy loads of strips of sand paper about a foot wide, and tape them down our road after the snow has gone. Start with say 10m of 60s, then 10m of 120s and end with 10m of 180s. Then ride down the road a few times until I get the finish I'm after.

@doddsie, be careful what you wish for. I once naively asked a lady on an internet dating site if she had any pictures of her (Bernese Mountain dog) puppies, and got rather more than than I bargained for. However, the puppies were very nice  .
