@Dave of the Marmottes, nice clickbaity title there it's not even discussing Austria!
But regardless, that music should be banned because it's terrible!
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

True on the clickbait but then Austrian apres is the ony place most of us would be exposed to such excrement and I know it has its fans/coprophiles here.
I doubt it will be making its way from Mallorca to Austria. It has caused a fair amount of upset due to the seedy lyrics, the sort of thing that might appeal in the Schatzi in Ischgl and dodgy bars in Sölden other places less so. There are plenty of other schlager "tunes" which only appeal after beer & Fliegender Hirsch with somewhat less offensive lyrics.

I was unaware of this particular musical sub-genre, but now I've seen it I realise that it's already made it to the après-ski slopes here. Heard some such a few times last season at a slopeside bar in the village, chuckled at it a bit, as my German is good enough to understand most of it, but thought nothing more of it.
TBF it's not half as bad or annoying as a lot of the normal Euro-pop, and if it keeps the Germans buying more beer then why not?
