Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Is Blaze Wear still trading? Alternatives?

Their website seems to have gone. It looks like they have been dissolved.

 Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

The reason for asking, is I had a Friend with Raynauds and was looking for something to help. I suggested Blaze Wear Inner Gloves - but they seem to have gone.

As an alternative, has anyone used/own Snow Deer?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

A good reason to hotfoot it to your nearest ski shop and have a chat about what they have for some real retail, or are they thin on the ground where you are?

I'm in NI and our 2 best ski shops closed some time ago. There is nothing close by.

The Person looking is not a skier - and is searching for something that she can wear when out on her bike. She likes the idea of a heated liner that can be worn on its own, or under some gloves.

Snow Deer seems to look very similar.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

@Old Fartbag, Mrs U has Snow Deer (? really?) replacing 2nd pair of Blazewear which wore out. Would have bought BW again but brexshit bonus duty meant economics against us.

They don't look as well made but seem adequately functional.

Thank You - good to know.

You'll probably remember that Miss Fartbagette has BW as a result of your recommendation and is well pleased. I'm glad she got them before they went under.

I see their Website is back up again. Not sure why everything was down. Strange.

@Old Fartbag, there was a change of ownership around the turn of the year, maybe just usual stuff?

I've been testing heated mitts from heatperformance.com, really well made, work superbly, quick delivery and do heated everything!

I'm fairly sure I had a nosey this year. The Website was there, but I don't think there were prices. This may have been an update....but usually something comes up when you do a search. There was literally nothing.

I did a brief search and saw the Company had been dissolved....but that must have been the previous one.
