I was looking a booking BA flights I have some executive / avios points. When I go to book with 4 seats, it doesn't offer to let me use them to discount the booking. However if i reduce to just two people it lets me select to reduce by £20. Is there any way round this? I guess i could create 2 bookings but would rather have whole family on a single booking.

Can you book these 4 tickets as a proper avios redemption flight? It maybe there are only 2 seats available, which would match the discount you're being offered (on cash redemption).

Ah interesting thought. I had looked to see what they would cost with avios and told couldn't for those dates / route. But i probably had 4 selected then as well.

@NickyJ, if you can book 2, then you might find when you go back in, BA has released another 2 seats which you can now also book. If you do 1 adult 1 child per booking that’s best (assuming you are 2 of each) because you can’t book children on avios online without an adult in the booking.
Once you’ve done the booking you can call BA to get them linked.
You’ve got 24 hours to cancel for a full cash refund regardless of reason, so it doesn’t matter if things don’t work out as you want initially, you can cancel rather than be left with only half the family going skiing.

They do, this was offered when I booked some flights with them in January. Luckily I didn’t need to use it!

I can't book even 1 seat with Avios. So no idea. Inclined to do the two and two then link. I guess that is "good enough" seems very odd to me
