Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Not so bothered about ski boots as I like to make sure they are dry back at the apartment but can you squeeze 3 sets of skis into a 2 man ski locker .

The simple answer is, it depends on the skis and the locker.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

We always managed to get 2 adult and 1 child set in. The key is where the binding line-up (since they are the widest point of the ski)

We would take another approach to money saving. Put skis in the locker at night, then simply swap them for the children during the day. The savings on lift passes, ski hire, mountain food, lessons, etc can be substantial, and far outweigh nightime savings, and it leaves you free to ski at adult pace all day. Gaffer tape is essential in this instance though.

@thecramps, you may find that the kids, having slept all day, keep you up all night. So occasionally you might want to put yourself in the locker to catch up on snooze?!

We always do (inc boots), but depends totally on the lockers! Most recently (x 2 trips) at intersport at the main lift in Kitzbuhel.

Boring serious reply: even the smallest locker for 2 will have space for 2 skis plus 2 sets of poles. At worst it will be easy enough to take the poles with you to your apartment in order to get all three skis in.

But most likely all it needs is careful lining up to get all the skis and poles in.
