Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Mojo mounting

Had a Mk 3 Mojo boot retainer shear at the bolt (Flush with the retainer, so probably not removable)
Has the design been changed, or is this just bad luck (im 110 Kg)? Looks like a definite weak point to put those forces through a M4 bolt!
Tried contacting them, but nothing back as yet.

mojo sold to a new owner - not sure if original owner still lurks here to help or not.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Ahh
That may explain poor comms - they were always brilliant before!

I bumped into Matt last week. He was fitting / selling a mojo whilst up at Hemel . He is an agent for Mojo.

@martinperry, Martin at Ski Mojo, still owns the UK/USA/AUS business but i think he might be away skiing right now, his number is on the instructions, worth a quick call and leave a message

i think it is a bit of bad luck and i would guess the bolt had worked slightly loose and that has given it the play to snap, the forces through that on the ski mojo are actually pretty low as the hinge/spring can only apply so much pressure so it is not your full body weight going into the mount

I’ve always found them to respond very quickly, a couple of years ago I had a cable break in one of the spring units whilst in Austria. Martin shipped me a replacement unit next day. He also included a second unit FOC so that I could have 2 new ones. When I returned to the UK I mailed the broken one along with the other original unit to him, he serviced/ repaired these at no cost and mailed them back to me. This means I have a spare set. I take a few spare parts with me on trips just in case I have a problem.
Excellent customer service from Skimojo Very Happy
