Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Morning

Done the search, nothing detailed.

Looking at La Norma 26 March - 02 April 2022

£301 for 7 nights SC accommodation with lift pass is an absolute gift (£151 each)

Best airport please

Transfer or rent a car to make use of the resorts nearby

If not staying at La Norma where would be central and cheap please?

Thanks in advance

Did a week with Simon Christy a few years ago >link< - I flew to Lyons & took the train to Modane (could book TGV to Modane too), then bus to resort.
Although we had access to cars there's a free ski bus service between the Maurienne resorts (I guess car would be best though)

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@Mike Pow, sounds like a good deal! I would definitely hire a car - La Norma is good, but not sure I would spend a whole week there, however it is only 5 minutes down to the main road and then the world (or the Haute Maurienne at least) is your oddly-shaped mollusc…
At that time of year definitely good to have the option of heading somewhere higher.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Paging @Ed_sec? He lives on the sunny side of the Maurienne and usual haunts are Norma, Karellis and the Val Cenis villages, with a trip up Orelle if bored. There's plenty to play with but I'd say a car is essential.

Worth checking if they still do the Eskimo pass which will give you access to 5 other resorts too for not much more - Valfrejus, Aussois, Val Cenis, Bessans and Bonneval sur Arc.
