Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Candide Thovex at our manor...(Crans Montana)

The building the very jumpy and spinny CT jumps over is The Raclette Shack - it has a plate of raclette cheese, potato and pickles for 5chf. Is has been 5chf since time immemorial.

It is A Nice Place.

Great vid! Is Crans Montana’s skiing worth a visit? Assume this is part of a marketing campaign?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Hi Bob - interestingly it is not part of a formal marketing campaign. Nico Vuignier lives here, and so there’s just a bit of ‘community skiing and filming’. I think you would find it a bit restricted compared with the stuff you usually ski and get up to over in the 4V. There’s a good back route into La Faverges but we only have been guided in there since there are a few routes with tricks up their sleeves (convex faces with cliff terminations). There’s some amusing off piste in the “Grand Canyon” which is what CM is skiing here, just below the Violettes lift station. CM has about 100km of pisted snow, which is fine. It also has a brilliant restaurant - Chetzeron - run by Sammi and well worth checking out. CM gets crowded in New Year, but is fine the rest of the year. If you go, park at Barzettes and access the mountain from there.
