Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Jones ladies snowboard advice

Hi, I'm wanting to buy a new board to replace my old Burton feelgood. I like the look of the Jones dreamcatcher, but not sure re the neck width. I'm a confident intermediate rider, 5'6'' around 150lb and size 9 us. I think the 151 looks about right, but I'm worried the neck is too narrow for my boots
Does anyone have experience with Jones women's boards?

Our Grom is hyper-light but has large feet - size 8 uk - he’s riding a mind expander with a bit of toe overhang but it’s ok. I bought him a wide 152 capita doa at Christmas in anticipation of him growing to uk 9, and that’s really good re absence of overhang and he likes the way it rides.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I have 2 Jones womens boards, a 145 and a 148. I have uk5/uS7 boots and have no issues with the width of the board. I don’t think 2 shoe sizes bigger would be an issue, if you’re worried go up a size as the width increases with the board length.
