Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Just a heads up to anyone doing these tests. On some devices (both android & IOS in our groups case), if you are mid test & come out to take the photo of the test to download, it’ll throw you out of the system.

You’ll then go into a blind panic until it eventually shows up under your log in with Chronomics & you can submit your photo for the result.

Two of our party have had this issue today which led to a stressful half hour trying to work out what to do.

Having had the heads up in this, I registered our tests on the iPad, & used the iPhone to take the photo so it was transferred via the cloud to the iPad. By following the online instructions exactly & using the above method, it worked a treat.

I have bought a Chronomics LFT to use next week.

Are you saying that to avoid any issues you should register the test well before carrying out the test and taking the photo?

@welshflyer, No, just be warned if it kicks you out you have to wait for the system to register it in the background before you can add the photo. Just log out & back in to see it (so I’m told).

My solution was to use two IOS devices so I’d avoid this issue.

As you register it, it takes you through what to do step by step. We all followed these steps but at the point it tells you to upload it may kick you out unless it’s already on the photo stream.

Apart from this glitch, it was great. Result cert came through within minutes.

Thanks for the heads up.

So I'll use my laptop for registering the test and use my mobile phone to take and send the photo.
