Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

We are flying tomorrow to Geneva (7.30am flight).
I have completed the Swiss PLF but am I required to also complete one for France?
We will be driving into France in a hire car.
I tried to complete the European PLF for France but it will let me input only flight arrival details ie it is not possible to state that we are arriving by car.... unless I'm missing something obvious.
Thanks in advance.

The gov.uk site does not mention this for entering France and it was updated this evening. It does mention it for Italy, so the Foreign Office are aware that it exists.
It was a new thing for me today, so maybe we'll see more of a rollout in coming days.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

You don’t need to do the European PLF, just the Swiss one, then the sworn statement of honour for France - which is just printed out and have on hand at the border (but 99.9999% will not be asked for).
That file is here:

Don't quote me - but I have a feeling that you no longer need a PLF for France (since the new regs came in today)
Read for yourself and see what you think

".For vaccinated travelers, there is no longer any obligation to justify a compelling reason for coming to France, nor any obligation to respect a period of isolation upon arrival on national territory. As such, the need to register, prior to travel, on the "passenger eOS" digital platform has been lifted. Arrival screenings may be conducted at the places of arrival. If the result is positive, the traveler will be placed in isolation."
