Poster: A snowHead

I'm heading out to the dolomites in a couple weeks, staying in Corvara Sun-Sun, but staying a night in Cortina on the previous Saturday.
Ski'd out of Ortesei for years so I know that side well. Don't really know Cortina.
Friends are driving the luggage over Sunday Morning, but if possible I'd love to ski as much of the route as possible.
What Im seeing is if I can get to the bottom of Cinque Torre, I can work my way across to the hidden valley, which should then take me to the Alta Badia ski area, from there I can get to my hotel.
In which case whats the best way of getting to Cinque Torre? Also does anyone have any idea how long this transfer takes roughly? Lastly, is there any unmissable routes on the cortina side before I head over, if I have enough time to do so?
For reference am I competent skier and will have one other with me.

There is a new lift : Son dei Prade-Cianzopè-Bai de Dones : from Cortina to Cinque Torre area
It is not on the ski map yet : Never having been to Cortina, but I think this lift means you will have no need for Busses

Ah wonderful, I'd seen reports of it being built, but not being on the map, I presumed it was not finished.
Hopefully I can figure it out once I get there.

You'll need to Register first of course.

You might want to double-check that the piste that links from the 2-person Croda Negra chair to Passo Falzarego is open (the chair won't be running if it's not). Sometimes there isn't enough snow if natural snow has been sparse and they shut the lift. If not, you will need road transport from Bai de Dones up to the pass, either skibus or flag down one of the taxibuses that ply the route.

It'll only take you a max of a couple of hours to get from the bottom of Cinque Torri to Corvara via the hidden valley. The new link from Cortina only takes 15 minutes.
Plenty of time to spend most of the day in Cortina.
I'd suggest spending the morning on the far side of the valley, maybe take the Faloria cable car first if you fancy a few blacks, then work your way back over to Pocol for about 2pm.
I'm hoping to get there for the first time this year from either Alleghe on transfer day, or from Arabba. Only possible due to the new lift. Sadly, I won't have time to take the Faloria lift, as I'll have a couple of hours less than you.
