Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Driving time Barcelona - Baqueira in winter

Has anyone got experience of this route? Driving conditions in winter etc? In a coach or minibus, not in a car.

I was driven on a coach a few years back. It was mid March and not in any way wintery, the weather was more like a summer in the UK all week. There was still plenty of snow on the slopes but the roads were completely clear, took about 5 hours with a stop if I recall correctly.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I've not driven precisely there, but to La Molina further east a couple of times in April. Google map times were pretty accurate. With that route you have choices (paid route, or smaller roads). The stuff before the mountains .. was all just standard roads. The mountain bit was the only sporting section ... the first time there was about 15cm fresh, ploughs were out, and there was one 4wd in a ditch, but my carefully driven standard 2dw hire was fine. The second time it was all bare. Those roads would not be a problem in a bus I'd say, but I wasn't in one!

I'd not worry much about it, but obviously if the conditions are dodgy then wait for the plough and expect some delay.
