Hi, for anyone interested in ski touring in the Republic of Georgia, here is a collection of photos and a trip report by Penzy Dinsdale, who joined the team at Snow Vigil on a trip in March 2020.
Georgia is a pretty amazing place to ski tour! I hope some of you get the chance to check it out.
I'll be happy to answer any questions about touring in Georgia.

We were thinking of going this year, but switched to Gulmarg, which I've had to call it off now with all the India covid travel restrictions anyway  Gutted.
Nice trip report and awesome photos. Think you were a bit more adventurous than our plan - we were going to stay in Mestia and in guest houses, no camping!

Mestia is a pretty cool place. We were based there for a heli trip but there were a few ski tourers around
