Now, I've just made a booking with a not to be named tour operator, to a not to be named resort, but WTF is this? In a family room?

 Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Do I see an electrical outlet? An old tube TV would fit in there perfectly.

@joffy69, it's for a very old, very French form of electric blanket, you can see the electrical socket and coaxial (remarkably similar to a TV aerial, but different*) connection for the 4G** remote behind. 4G allowed you to turn it on from the warmth of your local racletterie and have it toasty when you rolled home.
** not many people know this but 4G was developed in France in the 70s to support "le Minitel Mobile, toutes les chiffres pornographique dans vos poches!"
* actually exactly the same but only capable of TV in French

It’s where parents put the cookies supply to stop the kids snaffling all by Day 2.

The brochure lists it as a 'Spacious 3-bed apartment'... maybe for your cat.
