Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

@aos37, there are also a lot of snowheads over in Tignes this week. Post of this thread and you might be able to hook up with the crowd that aren‘t in lessons.

@aos37,

The usual rendezvous for the SCGB is by the big piste map to the left of the bottom of the ramp up to the Olympique lift. They usually leave there at 0915.

They may also meet at 1900 - 2000 in Bar Alex, Hotel La Galise, just down from the post office.

If you send Snowhead "lunch mike" a PM he may be able to help you find the SCGB group.

Meeting point is at the large piste map near ramp up to Olympique lift. 09.30am.
Generally 25-40 people so just ask around if we are not obvious!
Bar Alex under hotel La Galise is used as as a social meeting point 18.30 to 19.30 on Saturdays and Sundays and you will usually find a few members in the corner!
Due to staffing issues the bar is not open every evening at the moment and similarly the volunteers can’t be there every night so better to meet at the 09.30am social ski point.

Cheers

@lunch mike,

Thanks for posting the above. I've been following your SCGB Facebook postings too but I don't use Facebook.

If things go to plan I'm in Les Arcs between the 19th & 26th of December. Then I arrive in Val d'isere on the 2nd of January for a week, staying in my usual accommodation.

Looking froward to catching up with the usual crowd & new faces too.
