Poster: A snowHead

Hi
Does anyone have any recommendations for children’s ski school in Morzine for Feb halt term (12-19 Feb). We had lessons booked with PDS months ago but they contacted us last week cancelling our booking. We are now struggling to get spaces and have contacted a number of the main operators. The four kids are aged 5 , 9, 10 and 11. We require two separate groups as the youngest is only really starting to learn, the others have had two weeks. Potentially looking at a private booking if there was availability with someone. Any help appreciated!
Thanks
Glenn

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

For private - Ski beyond are very good as is Ivan at Alpiday. I have also heard good things about ESF believe it or not in private small groups.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

We’ve used The Snow Institute for years now. Sally, the director makes the entire experience pleasant from day 1 with excellent communication, and the quality of the teaching is equally as good.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Have you tried Supreme, can't report on kids' experience specifically but friends and I had Rachel to guide us (at speed!) round the area and two friends had lessons at the same time with other instructors. We all had a good time and the instructors were good. I would definitely look them up if I were taking my younger ones to Morzine.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately the above companies listed above have no availability apart from ESF. Will probably end up with them but a little apprehensive with going with them with my youngest due to potential language issues, particularly as she will be on her own. Hopefully there is a few other English speaking children amongst the group and she will be fine.

Hi @10196986, as I posted here https://snowheads.com/ski-forum/viewtopic.php?p=2703492 a few years ago, we went for ESF in Morzine when my son was 4.5yrs for his first proper week of ski tuition A lot of people have the downers on ESF but for my son, he's learnt more technique with them than any other ski-school.
As always, it depends on the child, the staff and how well they get on with each other; this applies equally to ESF as it does to any other company.
