Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

A snowHead
Looking to book a week in Europe for 4 people weekend of 12th/13th March.
Issue is that my 2 friends need a room each.
So looking for somewhere reasonably snowsure for mid March and enough to occupy 3 who like to cover a decent sized ski area and a blue run skier who hasn't skied for 15 plus years and will want to do ski school.
Apart from one hotel in Sestriere on the Crystal website that doesn't charge a single room supplement everything else showing up adds loads as a single room supplement - £600 plus per single room
Even self catering options are coming out really expensive or giving us separate studio flats.
Any other companies more single person friendly? Or will Crystal have more options if I phone?
Another thought was trying to get a flight and transfer via Crystal/ TO and book accommodation directly -anyone done that?
Any suggestions much appreciated

Look at travelski express packages on the Eurostar including transfers and lift pass. The searches gives you the options of all the different sized apartments.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Having done many solo ski trips its best to call tour operators when it comes to single rooms. Most of the websites are rubbish, iglu ski are quite good at hunting down options. The other route is as above, a self catering apartment.

For me the answer is a SnowHeads bash, Amen
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Sunweb or Snowtrex. Just book yourself a big enough apartment so that people can have their own room.
