Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

A new direct train service from London to Moutiers and Bourg St Maurice will operate on 18 weekends for the 20/21 season. It will be operated by Travelski, which is the inbound tour agency of Compagnie des Alpes (the partly state-owned company the 'owns' many of France's large ski resorts).
Details can be found here, on the CDA corporate website
https://news.compagniedesalpes.com/launch-of-travelski-express/
but I can't find any information about pricing, timetable etc. on the travelski,co.uk website yet (the new service will be exclusively sold by Travelski).
It's also not yet clear if you will be able to buy a stand-alone ticket or whether the service will only be part of a Travelski 'dynamic' package.
Travelling to the Alps by train has got to be the best choice, for climate change reasons and sheer convenience.
Watch this space for more information on the 'Travelski Express'.

@araird
, Interesting - I hope that can be used just for travel, rather than as per package, otherwise I suspect they may be cutting off a chunk of the market.
Certainly convenient and quick for many, but does depend where you're going to, going from, when you want to travel, no of kids/dogs etc
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

The key question for the validity of any LON-BSM train is "Is it a dry train..." *shudder* oooh, the flashbacks...
